Eye for Wild

Message from Chairman

I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to the winners and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the "Eye For Wild" Wildlife Photography Contest & Conservation FETE. ADAVI ALERT FOUNDATION organized this contest for the first time in collaboration with the Youth Photographic Society (YPS).

I would like to express my appreciation to the learned members of the Jury: Mr. Krishna Bhat, Padmanabha K G and Sudheendra K P. Their diligent judging helped us finalize the awards and acceptances.

My sincere thanks to YPS President Manju Vikas Sastry and Secretary Ms. Prema Kakade for their exceptional support in hosting the contest & during online judging.

At this juncture, it is important to remember our sponsors, partners and collaborators. Without their support, this wouldn't be possible.

The exhibition is scheduled 11 & 12, Jun 2023 wherein the winners will be facilitated on 11th at the award function. Winning images will be on display along with other selected images.

On behalf of the entire Adavi Alert team, I cordially invite everyone to join us at the Eye For Wild event at Karnataka Chitrakala Partishath in Bengaluru. This event aims to promote various conservation efforts and raise awareness among the current generation and society. Let's come together and celebrate this conservation extravaganza while pledging to Conserve.

Founded in 1999, Adavi Alert's focus area of work has been on reducing Human-Wildlife Conflict in the state of Karnataka in general and Nagarahole Tiger Reserve Area in particular. Adavi Alert tries to achieve this objective through a variety of tools like making interventions, exhibitions, workshops, and seminars and more importantly engage with the frontline staff of the forest department. In this process Adavi Alert has been able to identify sensitive zones like Chennangi Kodagu, Section (Pollibetta Coorg area, South Coorg) which are prone to regular human-wildlife conflicts.
